After establishing her digital marketing company, Flint Stone Media, Producer Jaime (“Jemmy”) Legagneur popped onto the podcasting with her first show, Curve the Cube. She quickly fell in love with the space and, after working a couple of years to learn the craft, she decided to make podcasting FSM’s main focus and build a network. So, she turned toward friend and Founder of the Horse Radio Network, Glenn “the Geek” Hebert, for a brainstorming session.
A Floridian since 1982, creating a network centered around Legagneur’s home state was a natural fit; so, Florida Podcast Network was born in July 2017. Legagneur then began growing her vision into a reality of propelling Florida’s prosperity forward through the power of podcasting!
Glenn quickly jumped at the idea to create and co-host FPN’s flagship show, Finding Florida, in November 2017. The show has taken them all over the State to connect with other podcasters, brands, and businesses who confirmed the need for local voices to showcase all that is unique about Florida through podcasting.
From the salt life to the swamp life and from its swing state status to its collection of eclectic characters, the FPN team hopes to help our great State continue to prosper through the power of local voices in podcasting. We want our podcasts to inspire and entertain the Floridian in everybody!!
