Florida Beer Podcast – Episode 54: Rep. Wyman Duggan and Bold City Brewing – Florida Podcast Network
Florida State primaries are now over, and we now know the big matchups that will be decided in November. One of the most contencious districts is house District 15, comprising Downtown Jacksonville and currently represented by Wyman Duggan.
Since he is up for reelection, we spoke to Rep. Duggan about the effect of current laws on breweries and craft beer bars, his views on how the Florida legislature can support craft beer, and all of the great breweries he represents.
Two of his constituents were also on the call, Susan and Kevin Miller, the mother and son team behind Bold CIty Brewing. We’ll chat about how COVID-19 has affected them and their two Jacksonville locations, trends they are seeing in Jacksonville craft beer, and about everyone’s recent conversation with Division of Business and Professional Regulation Secretary Halsey Beshears.
