As we’ve noted many times on the show, mentorship can be helpful and fulfilling for both a mentor and mentee. Today’s guests are the perfect example of this dynamic relationship. Silvana Roncal mentored Jennifer Perez through a nonprofit organization called LEAP, which stands for Ladies Empowerment and Action Program. The organization places businesswomen in the Homestead Correctional Institution to mentor incarcerated women. They teach them entrepreneurial and life skills to prepare them for re-entering into society.
