We rarely hear from the spouses of severely injured Law Enforcement Officers. Kay Reyna tells their story of severe traumatic brain injury and her role as a full-time caregiver and how it inspires her to help others.
Kay Reyna, is the wife of retired NC State Police Officer Umberto Reyna. He was struck and survived a horrific on-duty vehicle accident. He survived with devastating Traumatic Brain Injury and vision issues. Kay tells the story from her perspective as the spouse, what happened, and the dramatic changes in her life.
Kay also discusses her transition from spouse to full-time caregiver. How it inspired her to continue her education, her ministry to help others and also the books she wrote to help caregivers.
