David Butler grew up in Central Florida and went to college in the midwest where he started drinking beer due to the proliferation of breweries in his area. He has been in education for over a decade and started writing the Florida Beer Blog in March of 2014 on a whim during a trip to Tampa. Since then, he has visited well over 100 breweries in the state of Florida alone, logged over 2,000 different beers from the U.S. and around the world, and written over 900 individual blog posts.
